Description

In this Physlet, a 10.0 kg mass is attached via a pulley to another variable mass m (position is in meters and time is in seconds).
You can test the limits of the formula for the acceleration of an Atwood's machine by changing the ratio of the masses.

* Position may be found by right clicking on a paused screen.
* X and Y coordinates are given in meters.
* Time is given in seconds.
* Up and right are positive, down and left are negative.
